Because crypto as a currency is never going to be the way, in my opinion. The alternatives have more real world use than just being a store of value or currency. Why replace money with something more cumbersome and complicated when money is already 99% digital? I hold litecoin but I don’t see it ever taking off as a replacement for fiat. Bitcoin is an exception to the rule and I can’t imagine it holding its value forever.
I know that fiat doesn’t have much validation either, but at least it’s simple and widely accepted with no fees to the end user.
